Echoing the nose, the palate is juicy and red-fruited with additional hints of raspberry and wild strawberry, wet granite and thyme. Texturally lifted and elegant, yet structured, this Pinot Noir will benefit from some time in your glass or cellar.

The 2021 Pinot Noir The Maggie’s Selection is impeccable. More than anything else, the Maggie’s impresses with its fine balance and total class. Bright red/purplish fruit, sage, mint, tobacco and a touch of whole cluster savoriness all run through the 2021. I would give the 2021 a few years to soften, as the tannins are a bit incisive at this stage. — Antonio Galloni
