Effusive aromas of Bosc pear, Meyer lemon, orange oil, nectarine, hints of mango, wet slate and honeysuckle compel a taste. The palate entry feels rich, yet bright and mouthwatering at the same time showing flavors of pink grapefruit, honeydew, lemon curd, white peach and a saline character. This is a tremendously delicious wine which is showing beautifully now and has a very long future ahead of it.

Stony, flinty and crisp in lemon zest, this wine was given time in both new barrel and stainless steel, allowing for complex, floral tones to take hold. Complex, balanced and elegant in style, this wine is mightily structured, with plenty of time to unfurl and impress. — Virginie Boone

Precise and fresh, offering perfectly ripe Bartlett pear, lemon zest and Fuji apple flavors, with hints of makrut lime leaf and sea salt, followed by a note of buttery brioche on the elegant finish. Drink now through 2038. —M.W.

The 2019 Chardonnay shows lovely hints of nuance that have started to develop in the bottle. Lemon confit, apricot, yellow flowers, mint, tangerine oil and a touch of honey are all typical of a wine with some bottle age. Creamy and expansive in feel, the 2019 is showing so well today. — Antonio Galloni
